Let me tell you some personal details about me. I live with my wife and two wonderful daughters in northern Colorado, at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. I am a native of Colorado, having lived here all of my 40 plus years.
I was raised in a small town in southern Colorado that had a population of less than 1500 people. I long for the small town atmosphere where everyone knows each other, and life seems simpler.
After high school I moved to the big city of Denver Colorado to go to College (talk about culture shock for a small town boy). After College I had taken jobs that have kept me moving north. In 1984 I finally decided Fort Collins Colorado would be my home, and it has been ever since.
I am a sports fan, especially Football and the gentlemanly game of Ice Hockey!
I have a passion for Fly Fishing, enjoy tying my own flies, and have no problem driving 8 hours in one day to go after the "Big One".
Two of the greatest moments of my life were meeting my beautiful Chinese blessings.
In October of 1999 we traveled to China to pick up our precious daughter, Hannah.
In September of 2002 we traveled to pick up Makayla.
They have been such a blessing to us and have brought us so much joy! Because of the travel to China and the connection we have to the country, we have developed such a love for the Chinese people.
Hannah is now an energetic 7 year old. She just finished first grade. We have found that she is a natural at Karate, and she loves it.
Makayla is four and is somewhat stubborn. She is so curious about everything she is not supposed to get into. And she is very intelligent, knowing her alphabet, counting to 100 and knowing how to spell some words at 3.
Why am I telling you this? Because I use every opportunity I have to tell people of this wonderful opportunity that can enrich your life. If you have ever considered adding a child to your family, there are plenty of beautiful children in China needing a home.
I highly recommend the agency we have used - their hearts are with the children, not in making money.

I have been working in the corporate world for several years. Even though my employer pays me a fair wage, they will never be able to pay me what I can earn with my own business. Plus, the future of corporate employees is very uncertain these days. I don't want to wake up one day being unemployeed, with no way to feed my family, because my company decided to let people like me go.
I prefer to be in control of my financial future, I don't want to leave it in the hands of an employer.
